Black obsidian is a jet black stone formed from volcanic eruptions. The lava from the volcanoes cools and forms the solid black stone. These came in nice. Packaged well. The carry case that came with mine was nice too. They were nice and smooth. No spots or anything. This would be 5/5 if one tidbit of information was more prominent or included in the description. The obsidian balls are, possibly the only kind, unsuitable for rolling with them touching. They tend to grip and stick in weird ways.
I contact the supplier and they allowed me to exchange them for another pair suitable for that type of rolling. The customer service is an easy 5/5 stars. I’ve never had such a hassle free exchange or return. I’ll definitely be back!
